Project Description:

•Responsibilities included solid UI Design, Interaction Design with Information Architecture undertones.

•Utilized my advanced experience from other projects involving B2B and B2C commerce.

•Incorporated ideas about the use of online media, rich media and Web 2.0 technologies and mobile applications for different platforms within the site.

•Led and collaborated in the development and implementation of site features and functionality across all of Grainger eCommerce websites.

•Identified customer and business needs, project planning and managing and reporting on all activities relative to site enhancements.

•Evaluated project opportunities and collaborated with multiple teams (UX, DEV, EPL) to define approach for design and implementation.

•Gathered and analyzed customer feedback data (through surveys and user testing) and presented insights and actionable recommendations for implementation.

Technologies Used: MS Visio, MS Office and MS Project, and Coremetrics (Web Analysis).

Achievements

Designed the first repository mechanism (Pickup List) for users to separate/designate items for pickup during a ship-only order.
